Turn insights into action

Research evidence is of no value if it sits on the shelf. The insights we gain through our learning activities should inform our decision making and lead to change in our programs. After all, the risk of inaction is often greater than the risk of acting. There needs to be a desire for change and a commitment to flexibility and agility.

  • Does organizational inertia, bureaucracy or rigidity make change difficult?
  • Is there a willingness to act on evidence even if change is difficult?
  • Is there an openness to experimentation and new approaches?
